Stretnutie s Hermanom ENGELSOM

V uplynulých dňoch sa nám dostalo tej cti, že sme mohli pohostiť bývalého dirigenta Štátneho komorného orchestra, priateľa Liona, Hermana ENGELSA. Popri svojich povinnostiach va Slovensku si našiel čas a prijal pozvanie na obed. Pozvali sme ho do Športhotela SP Resort nad Žilinou a mali sme to šťastie, že sme stretli aj majteľa – Petra SAGANA, ktorý nám venoval pár chvíľ zo svojho času.

Po niekoľkých dňoch sme dostali srdečný pozdrav z Belgicka …

Dear Mr. President,

it was a pleasant surprise to meet on 11th of September 2024 in Sport Hotel in Zilina with members of your Lions Club Zilina which I still could remember very well and also with Mag. Vladimir Salaga, former director of the world famous Slovak Sinfonietta. Unexepcted was also the meeting with Mr. Peter Sagan and the possibility to visit his museum, where I saw a lot of his sportive memories about Flanders in Belgium, my home country.

Thanks for organizing this meeting so quickly. It was very sympathetic. It’s amazing that you organize every year two concert for fundraising. I remember very well, and I still have a lot of photos of the concert I conducted for Lions Club Zilina with the Slovak Sinfonietta.

Thanks a lot for the souper in the restaurant of Peter Sagan and the unexpected meeting with you. Once you should come and visit Lions Club Zuiderkempen in Belgium.
